The DAAD EPOS Scholarship for the MIDE Programme at HTW Berlin offers a fantastic fully funded opportunity for international students to pursue a Master’s in Germany.

HTW Berlin – the largest university of applied sciences in Berlin – provides an 18-month (or 17-month in some references) full-time Master’s programme in International and Development Economics (MIDE). The programme is taught entirely in English and starts in April each year (e.g., April 2027 for the current cycle).

This programme targets students from developing and newly industrialised countries, as well as those from Germany and other developed countries with a keen interest in economic challenges in the Global South. It prepares graduates for careers in global economic affairs, development organisations, international institutions, and related fields.

The programme is ideal for those with a first degree in economics, business administration, or other social sciences with a strong economics focus.
