The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan is inviting applications for the Kazakhstan Government Scholarship 2026 (Scholarship Programme for Studying at Universities in Kazakhstan). This fully funded programme supports international students, including persons of Kazakh nationality who are not citizens of Kazakhstan, to pursue full-time Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degrees at leading universities in the country.
Note: This is a separate initiative from the prestigious Bolashak International Scholarship, which primarily supports Kazakh citizens studying abroad.
Why Study in Kazakhstan?
Kazakhstan is emerging as an attractive destination for higher education in Central Asia. Its universities maintain high academic standards with modern facilities, while the country offers a high quality of life at a relatively low cost. Students benefit from a vibrant, multicultural environment and can study in English, Kazakh, or Russian, providing an excellent opportunity to learn new languages.
The nation’s strong economy—driven by natural resources—combined with safe, modern cities equipped with advanced infrastructure, makes it an appealing choice for international students seeking quality education and cultural exchange.
