The Selar Smart Hustle Initiative 2026 (also known as the Selar Tuition Fund) is a social impact and corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme by Selar, an e-commerce platform supporting African creators. The initiative addresses rising school fees in Nigeria that make education inaccessible for many, while promoting legitimate pathways to success and tackling fraud at its roots by expanding access to education and opportunities for young people.
Selar is committing ₦10,000,000 in total funding to support 150 deserving Nigerian students at critical stages of their academic journey. This includes final-year tertiary students facing graduation pressures and SS3 students preparing for key exams.
Key Benefits
- 50 final-year university or polytechnic students receive ₦100,000 each to help cover tuition or related costs.
- 100 SS3 (senior secondary school) students receive ₦50,000 each to support preparation for WAEC and JAMB exams.
This is the third edition of the programme, which has previously supported over 200 final-year students. It aims to ease financial barriers and foster belief in legitimate opportunities over shortcuts.
